Anybody else a little disappointed in the commercials?
I didn't think any of them were that great this year. I missed the Fed-Ex one with K-Fed, but even the Budweiser ones weren't all that amusing.

Anybody else?

For purely personal reasons, we were pulling for the Colts, (Peyton Manning sent my son an autographed football and a picture), so I did enjoy the game.

1. They sucked ass.
I liked the K-Fed one and the Taco Bell one with the lions, but that's about it.

2. Yeah, they weren't that great.
The Bud commercial where slapping someone in the face becomes the new fad was hi-larious.

The Blockbuster commercial with the mouse was funny, too.

4. What a shock that was.
I'm not a fan, but I thought that show was superior. And, I loved Billy Joel's rendition of the National Anthem. No yodeling, a la Mariah and the ilk.

And I adore the Stones, but their show was awful.

6. The only one that stood out at all to me
was the 10 second Letterman/Oprah spot. That made me laugh out loud. The rest were a disappointment.

10. We said the same thing as well
That the commercials were average overall this year. Then I made the comment that we say the same thing every year. I think they get hyped so much and the vast majority of them are just basic commercial that we have some pretty unrealistic expectations programmed into our heads. That and if I saw another commercial for this season's Survivor I was going to go on a killing rampage.

11. They stunk
it seemed like there were more commercials than ever before this time. I thought most of them were pretty dumb and not very funny. I wish they'd just play the game and cut all the commercial hype. One of the things I miss about being in the service . . . the uninterrupted presentation of the game on AFN. No commercials, just the game.
