I can't believe this. I mean I CAN, but I CAN'T...
I just saw a commercial for a fast food restaurant. It's a minute later, and frankly, I can't remember what restaurant it was - Wendy's, maybe?

At any rate, the music used in the commercial is the Violent Femmes' "Blister In The Sun." None of the lyrics were included in the ad, but still! Blister In The Sun! In a burger ad!

nothing gets me craving burgers like thinking about a festering blister in the sun.

Seriously though, that album spoke for all of Gen X better than any other and I guess they are 'coming for us now' if they are onto using that, so to speak.

5. I've already heard songs that came out when I was in middle school on the "Classic Rock" station...
