"Feels Like Home" - anthem by Randy NEWMAN - hallelujah!!1

I hate to say it, but sL-IMUS did it again. The previous time was when he featured Van MORRISON singing off of COUNTRY songs that got me sitting bolt upright in bed. This A.M. I was snoozing, when this dude was singing this anthem, "Feels Like Home" and I literally STOOD UP out of bed and STOOD upright in front of the t.v., like STANDING for the Hallelujah chorus (well... ).

I couldn't understand sL-IMUS's pronunciation of the singer's name, Raul MALO, which he pronounced, "rawl maul". Then he said it was a Randy NEWMAN song. So when I fired up President GORE's internet, it turns out it dates back to Nineteen NINETY-FOUR (1994)!!1 and has been recorded by Linda RONSTADT. So how has this not penetrated MY little world?

As for this Raul MALO dude, it turns out he's a Cuban, that he started with a Florida country group named "The Mavericks" (how original), and that this dude is compared to Roy ORBISON.

Well, Raul's voice lacks timbre to me, is brittle though not strained, but what impressed me about his performance was the CONSISTENCY, hitting the high notes exactly the same way each time. I'm going to check out Randy NEWMAN's and Linda's versions. 1994?????!!1
