Brittany Spears suffering from PPD?

My wife suggested this question earlier today while talking to her friends: First my Wife has never been a fan of Brittany. She liked a few of her songs BUT never really thought much about her or got into the gossip and all BUT when her friends started in on the Brittany converage and laughing my wife got upset.


She laid out this case.

Brittany has had 2 kinds not even a full year apart.

Not to mention She is going through a divorce from K-fed and regardless of how long they have been married it has got to bring a certain amount of stress.

Not to mention the girl can't burp without the media shoving a camera in her face.

Everyone is making snap judgements and everything and getting a good laugh and it seems the family is trying to push her into any type of treatment center and she wonders if the family themselves are in ignoring the PPD signs.

I must admit, I was never a fan of Brittany. In fact I could never understand why she was so popular, but I do feel sorry for her now. I think your wife may be right, PPD can play itself out in many different ways. She is a human being in obvious distress and deserves the same respect we should show anyone in trouble. I think the problems so many of these young multi millionaires are having show it is healthier to be saving up for your first car during your teen years than how to spend your next million.

3. I have been thinking the same thing.

It may be PPD, and, if she's doing any kind of drugs (not prescribed to her), that's just going to make things far worse.

I'm no fan of Brittany's, but she's obviously a very troubled young woman. I hope she can get herself straightened out.

4. it's totally possible, she seems overwhelmed by her life and she doesn't

seem to have a very reliable support system, maybe thats by choice or maybe it isn't, girl needs help and i hope she's really getting some.

She needs help, and I hope she finds it.

could be just a lot of stress due to methamphetamine use, a divorce
and having two kids under the age of 5.
She was being photographed at the Rehab center both times.
That's why she left and I don't blame her.
Rumor now has it that K-Fed was demanding a drug test as part
of the custody battle. That's why she shaved her head.
Smart move, on her part... shaving her head.
She does have a support system. Her family is there for her.
I'm sure she'll pull through.
