Craig Ferguson on Britney Spears...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bbaRyDLMvA
If you guys haven't seen this yet, watch it.
Craig Ferguson explains why he won't make fun of Britney Spears.
...now I feel bad for making fun of her.

But I leave you with this conversation between my sister and her friend today (both are about 10 years old)

SISTER: Did you see how Britney Spears shaved her head?

SISTER'S FRIEND: Yeah, now she looks like my dad.

1. Yeah I saw that ...
and he had a point.

She needs help before she gets wayyy more out of control. Even though she is 25 I still ask " Where is her family at ?" My family and I are close - no matter how famous I got, they still would not let me act like an ass - My mom told me that , no matter how old I get , she can still whip my ass. That's why I love my mom :)

2. Yeah, my family was there for me when I was making some
really bad choices a couple of years ago.
They really should be there for Britney...clearly she needs support from somebody...

5. I was a damn mess 3 years ago. I am not ready to be proud of myself yet.
There is way too much for me to do that I have not yet done.
My debts grow legion...

11. I have to give that guy credit (did I really just say that?)...
Once this whole debacle started bubbling up I would have thought he would have used it as an opportunity to get his mug plastered all over any magazine or tv show or news show that would have him. But to his credit he's not doing that. He's laying low and letting his case for custody make itself. And good for him because it makes me believe that he's sincere in his quest.

6. Amazing
:applause:

Bravo...that was wonderful. He's right, although obviously Brit has a drug problem going on as well as the alchohol. That was amazing, so thanks for posting it. :)

8. Craig Ferguson showed a lot of compassion
And it took a lot of guts for him to stand up against the ridicule.

For that I say Bravo!

:applause:

Love and light to Britney, and hope that she gets the help she needs.

9. I loved it
It was 12 minutes long, too, and he didn't bore the audience to tears. I felt like I was at a meeting. I was in touch with some regret watching it though, because in March I would have had 15 years. :(

As it stands, In November I had five, for the second time. But also watching that I was really in touch with just how incredibly blessed I was to have hit bottom and gotten clean/sober that young, relapse or no. I could be out there dead or ruining my life and everyone else around me. Watching that was really powerful for me. :hi:

10. I am grateful to be clean and sober too!
I was really young when I got sober as well. No relapses, but I did stray away from meetings for an extended period of time.
