My Oscars review...

Meryl Streep - just fucking horrible. Wore a Glad bag as a dress and didn't try to cover her roots. Thank God she didn't win, cuz nobody needs to see that pile on stage.

Alan Arkin - Good for you! Well-deserved! I thought Eddie Murphie would win, but I'm pleased that you did.

Jennifer Hudson - you had no competition. Well done. Abigail Breslin was fucking adorable and she should be pleased with being nominated.

j-lo: Well done, once again. You looked gorgeous.

Reese Witherspoon: You're done.

Forrest Whitaker: Congratulatons, and your wife is gorgeous, and that gold dress was perfect.

Peter O'Toole: Sorry.

Martin Scorsese: It's about fucking time.

Helen Mirren: You're beautiful, and you looked awesome. And nobody has deserved an Oscar as much since Hepburn won for Lion in Winter.

In summary: This was the first Oscars in 20 years where I didn't object to any of the awards. And Ellen was perfect.

god awful.

i didn't love the shrug ms hudson wearing -- i thought oscar de larenta{Sp} was WAY off on that part of her dress.

i wish that leonardo would do something different with his hair -- mark wahlberg looked incredible.

alan arkin winning was my personal hi-light. i'm a huge fan of his abilities.

i thought the show was pretty terrific overall.

oh -- and i HATED beyonce's jewelled dress thingy.
