Calling all hosers! Let's talk about things these Yanks won't get.
So, we were in the tenth end, eh, all tied up, and we have the hammer. It's a pretty easy draw to the four foot, but Steve decides to throw out-turn instead in-turn, eh? He says the sheet over there is a little too keen for him, but I think he's had too many hi-tests since about the third. So he gets in the hack and chucks it, and damn it, even with three of us brushing it only does the eight foot, so we lose, eh? Turns out this cost us the bonspiel to boot. What a hoser! I'm sick of his shit, he can damn well find a new second.

4. Didn't they build the longest curling sheet in the world in North Dakota?

3. Curling, I presume?
Don't know most of the terms, but the brushing gave it away. :-)

5. What if I had said "sweeping?"
Like back in the good ol' days, when those little brushes were for kids and women. And Europeans. Real men used real brooms, especially those big synthetic ones that could, when wielded by a strong guy, make the whole rink shake.

6. Yep, I knew you were talking "aboot" curling. . .
but I couldn't think of anything witty to say. All I could come up with were "Slapshot" quotes and they just didn't seem to fit. Sorry.
