Anna Nicole Smith will be remembered the way she lived her controversial life – in the pink.

The former Playbunny is set for a lavish pink themed burial in the Bahamas around 10.30am on Friday.

She will be buried in a custom made gown in closed casket. The ceremony is expected to be littered with hundreds of pink flowers.

The service is expected to be attended by 300 invitees who will hear a song by a 'well known performer'.

A friend of the model's Patrik Simpsons said, 'It will be a very beautiful, Anna Nicole send-off.'

'Of course it will be over the top because it's Anna Nicole.'

Simpsons partner, Pol Atteu designed over 12 gowns for Smith, including a burial gown, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
