What do you want?
Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 09:15 AM by reyd reid reed
I'm craving an Egg McMuffin, dammit. Someone (who shall remain nameless, you fucker) mentioned wanting one yesterday and I've wanted one ever since.

GAHHHH!!!!!

I do the McDonald's breakfast thing so rarely -- I'm not a morning person, so actually ingesting food in the mornings isn't something I look forward to. But dammit...I want that McMuffin!!!

3. They are so wrong, but so tasty.
But they are easy to make at home. Crack an egg into a little ramekin and bake for 10 minutes. Toast a muffin. Put egg, cheese, and maybe canadian bacon (if you eat pig).

Tastes exactly the same.

I can't wait for tomorrow -- I really need to go grocery shopping.

The car goes in for the electrical problem tonight. It's getting funny. I hit the power locks and it clicks 15-20 times as though I'm hitting the lock button over and over. Quirky old cars. Gotta love them - or drive them off a cliff. (Did I actually type that...)

Yes, you did. And I don't recommend driving cars off cliffs. It worked for Thelma and Louise, but we're more like Lucy and Ethel. Or Kate and Ally. Cagney and Lacey.

Thelma and Louise did have their moments, though...

I've got the geriatric ward at my house. Widget's 14 on Saturday and my car is 14 in August. In dog years, they're both dead. Come to think of it, so am I.

Widget talks to himself and carries his very favorite toy from one floor to the next. You never know where Mr Mousie will show up. The car, on the other hand, is less endearing in it's quirkiness. Sigh.

I should have married a mechanic, a vet, a dentist, and a doctor but never, ever a musician. ;)

Patches is only a little older than my car. She was a year old when Bonehead was born and Bonehead was a year old when I bought my car. Patches is 19. Car is 17. I'm afraid I won't have either for much longer. We're heading into the rainy season and I still can't open either of my front doors from the outside. Poor Patches -- she talks to herself, too.

Both of 'em are still getting around pretty well, although my car could use a good mechanic. And someone to fix the doors.

Now I'm off to get Bonehead out of bed. CSAPs today so he doesn't have to be at school until noon, but he's gonna have to take the bus today 'cause I don't have enough gas to drive him to school and get to work. I can do one, but not both, so guess which one...

Sex with you is all I want,
Sex with you ....and sometimes food is all I really want,
Sex with you ....and sometimes food and maybe a movie or a play
Is all I really want today

Sex with you ....and sometimes food and maybe a movie or a play and sleep,
But not too much at all, is really all I want.

Sex, food, movie, play, sleep...
Shower, a shower with you and some shampoo would be oh so good

Sex with you and sometimes food and a movie or a play,
Some sleep, a shower and a shampoo with you is all I really want.
Really

27. That's weird
I was craving one yesterday morning (and I didn't even see that post)! Is there an astrological event that influences McDonald's cravings?

I didn't indulge, BTW, and I regret it. So I say go for it. One McMuffin won't kill you--it's the everyday Mickey D indulgences that will, like in Supersize Me. (Which put me off McD's for quite a while, but not forever--how scary is that!)

35. somebody to love
Artist: Jefferson Airplane Lyrics
Song: Somebody To Love Lyrics
When the truth is found to be lies
And all the joy within you dies

(Chorus)
Don't you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love

When the garden's flowers, baby, are dead
Yes, and your mind, your mind is so full of red

(Chorus)

Your eyes, I say your eyes may look like his
Yeah but in your head, baby
I'm afraid you don't know where it is

(Chorus)

Tears are running, they're all running down your breast
And your friends, baby, they treat you like a guest

(Chorus)

Is that too much to ask? Damn. I wish I had someone.

41. I didn't write the song
What do you want from life
To kidnap an heiress
or threaten her with a knife
What do you want from life
To get cable TV
and watch it every night

There you sit
a lump in your chair
Where do you sleep
and what do you wear
when you're sleeping

What do you want from life
An Indian guru
to show you the inner light
What do you want from life
a meaningless love affair
with a girl that you met tonight

How can you tell when you're doin' alright
Does your bank account swell
While you're dreaming at night
How do know when you're really in love
Do violins play when you're touching the one
That you're loving

What do you want from life
Someone to love
and somebody that you can trust
What do you want from life
To try and be happy
while you do the nasty things you must

Well, you can't have that, but if you're an American citizen you are entitled to:
a heated kidney shaped pool,
a microwave oven--don't watch the food cook,
a Dyna-Gym--I'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home,
a king-size Titanic unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum,
a foolproof plan and an airtight alibi,
real simulated Indian jewelry,
a Gucci shoetree,
a year's supply of antibiotics,
a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth
and Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number,
a beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick,
Rosemary's baby,
a dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams,
a new Matador, a new mastodon,
a Maverick, a Mustang, a Montego,
a Merc Montclair, a Mark IV, a meteor,
a Mercedes, an MG, or a Malibu,
a Mort Moriarty, a Maserati, a Mac truck,
a Mazda, a new Monza, or a moped,
a Winnebago--Hell, a herd of Winnebago's we're giving 'em away,
or how about a McCulloch chainsaw,
a Las Vegas wedding,
a Mexican divorce,
a solid gold Kama Sutra coffee pot,
or a baby's arm holding an apple?

Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 12:04 PM by BluePatriot
Something sane where I'm not surfing the internet 6-7 hours a day while someone else in our dept is overwhelmed. After repeated attempts to help with some of her workload through the inane, formal "chain of command" channels I get the message that "her not being able to cover her desk is HER problem." Baby-talk lessons in how to do the simplest things while my BA hangs prominently on the wall behind me. Freeper big-spender young-blonde-stereotype boss. Introverted and disinterested supervisor. Laughably corporate claw-to-the-top-catty-vibes-cougarish manager. Owner who pays more attention to the Freeper big-spender young-blonde-stereotype boss. Coworkers who've stayed here 10 years in the same role with no changes. I could go on.
