How many presidents has your pet

lived through?

My cat has lived through three presidents...

She's 17 so she has lived through Bush I, Clinton and Bush II.

She was happier while Clinton was president. I know this because she meowed far less in the 1990s

1. Just one

He was born probably (we got him when he was several months old after he was abandoned at the shelter) right around the time of Clinton's inauguration.

He's still alive but of course after Clinton we had that bloodless coup...so you know just the one actual President.

2. My big dog

Birdie, I got when the Big Dog was President back in '99 :)

China, my little shi-tzu, was born on 9-11-01.

She'll be 18 in early September...so she'll be old enough to vote :-)

I don't know her exact birthday because she was a stray; the vet estimated the first week of September...so we celebrate her Birthday on Labor Day!

4. So far

The parrot goes all the way back to voting for Dukakis, and possibly further back. Our dog and cat have lived through Clinton and Gor...oops, Chimpy. Our other dog has only lived through the dictatorship...hopefully she'll live to see a free and democratic union. Otherwise, she'll have to get her siblings' word on how it used to be.

Bush 1 :puke: Clinton :woohoo: and most of the first term of Bush 2 :puke:

I think Bush 2 is what did him in, that and being 13 years old and a Dalmatian who apparently had a stroke the last day of his life.
