OK, another kind-of copycat. I do not own any blue jeans. Not even one pair. Anyone else?

1. Do you own any sans-a-belt trousers?
Those are cool.

11. Pity. They make some good plaid golfing trousers.
Comfy.

12. I may also be the only American guy over 50 who's never played golf. Not once.

13. That's OK.
I'm 40, and I haven't golfed in 20 years. I actually used to be quite good, but I lost interest. I discovered that it was boring.

2. I believe pants are such a cliche
I'm a strictly jock strap man myself.

8. A jockstrap and a feather pretty much does it for formal wear, yes? Or a breechclout.

5. How is it possible that you, of all people, have no blue jeans...
In a lot of photos, you have such a quintessential 'western' look, that i always just pictured you in a pr of faded to death Levi's or something...

9. Well, I'm with "anti-everything" on this one: black twill and whipcords.

Still Western. Especially the shirts with snaps instead of buttons...great for us arthritics; much less fumbling.

10. Besides, black is easier...
My girlfriend doesn't tell me I don't match if I wear all black. And, The Man in Black is one of my heros.

14. My dear Redstone...
No jeans for me, either!

I haven't worn them since I was a teenager.....

I just like my comfy knit pants......

16. Wow, really?
That kind of surprises me, but in a way it doesn't. You are definitely your own man, with your own style.

I own several pair of jeans, but don't always wear them. Often I wear casual slacks, even while working in my office at home with no outside appointments.

17. Gosh, I'd be lost if I couldn't wear jeans....
I even manage to make them passable for some (not all) dressier occasions by dressing up around them.

My body type looks good in jeans and I like the pockets and sturdiness. And I'm kinda lazy. And on a daily basis I'm always doing something messy and like to feel free to wipe my hands on my jeans. I own a pair for painting, woodworking and landscaping, a pair for fishing and going to the hardware store and a pair for more "formal occasions." :+

OK, I'm weird.

(BTW, Redstone, I had my first fly-fishing class tonight! I'll tell you about it soon. :hi: )

Jeans just got too restrictive, not enough room if you know what i mean. I wear slacks now my boys need comfort.

20. I do, but when I was about six months pregnant with my eldest,
a coworker asked me why I never wore jeans. She couldn't tell I was pregnant. I was mortified.
