I have been banned from the laundry room!!
I was trying to be helpful, and put a load of clothes in the washer. I knew better than to wash 'em in hot water, but I thought "warm" would be OK. Seems I made a slight miscalculation there. My wife has fobidden me to ever do the laundry again.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Ignorance CAN be bliss!

Bake

Unfortunately, I have not been banned from ironing ...

1. I'm banned from the kitchen while my wife is cooking.
Unfortunately I am not banned when it is time to do the dishes. :(

2. We wash everything in cold water.
My clothes separate from his clothes, and all the socks, underwear, pajamas, and towels in the other load.
It works for us, and our clothes always smell great! Of course that's got more to do with the fabric softener sheets. We use two in each load, and you wouldn't think so, but it makes a HUGE difference.

3. I have been banned for years
about 12 years ago I had a turtleneck (white) that I got blood on from a cut on my finger. called (the soon to be) Mrs Matcom and asked what to do.

Try some bleach it is under the sink she told me.

Ssooooooooooo

I get a plastic bucket which I put into the Tub. Filled it with about 6" of piping hot water. Put the shirt in and poured 1/2 a jug of bleach in. Let soak overnight.

Not a trace of blood left. Not a single drop on ANY of the shirt-pieces :D

Haven't touched the wash since
