Of the current projects on my desk,

One project is 2 months late because of a situation I asked a vendor in advance to check and prevent.

One project is clearly going to get screwed up because a vendor has an inexperienced person (who is clearly clueless) processing orders. I'm going to have to be a bastard and escallate around that person, stepping on a few toes in the process.

Another project was started late, but because of political presures we have to make it look like we started on time. So we're immediately behind schedule and I have people looking over my shoulder wanting explanations for the non-existant delays.
