Need some good thoughts, everyone!

I left high school about eight years ago due to a lot of medical and personal issues. I've always regretted never having gotten my diploma, but I've been determined lately to make up for that. As such, I'm attending school to earn my HSED (like a GED, but with higher scoring requirements).

So far, I've passed four out of the five final exams on the first try. Just got through Social Studies this morning with a 96/100, no doubt due to the wonderful education I've gotten here at DU!

That just leaves math, which I'm really quite afraid of. I still have plenty of time to study, but it'll be like learning this all over again when I was never particularly good at it in the first place! Need some good vibes, here. ;)

I'm going back to college to get a degree. It is scary as hell. Math is my worst subject too. I have to take it though :(

you should be very proud of yourself...you are doing so well. Congratulations!

You will also do well on the math. It seems that a lot of people have a fear of math for some reason, but it is really just logic.

Overcome your fear, because it is apparent in the way that you type that you have the brain power to accomplish your goals. Have confidence in yourself...because you have already proven that you have what it takes to succeed.
