1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own? I was raised Catholic. Mercifully, I escaped that particular cult. I am reasonably informed about that one. Not much on the other religions.

2. Do you go to a gym, if so which one? I have a membership at a gym right next door to my apartment building. And...haven't been there in a while. Not in the proper frame of mind to work out right now. :-(

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states). I don't know.

4. What is your favorite Flag? I do like the Rainbow Flag. As far as flags of countries go, my favorite is Canada's. I don't like our flag very much. Too busy.

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed? Reasonably well groomed.

1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?
Better than average I think. I'm an atheist, but fascinated about what compels people to be believers.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?
I work out at home with weights. I'm too self-conscious to do that sort of thing at a public gym.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states)
In Canada? Don't know. And no it's not maple syrup. That stuff is seasonal (Feb & March)and I can't stand it. Too sweet!

4. What is your favorite Flag?
I've always liked the union jack. Very symmetrical and cool looking.

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?
Yes. I have a very strict dress code at work. Diplomatic corps.

5. Answers
1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?

Extremely well-informed, enough so that I know to avoid religion at all costs.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?

I don't at the moment, but as soon as the semester starts I'll be a member of our AWESOME student rec and fitness center.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states)

Not sure what you're asking, so I'm winging it. I think an average American diet would include bread, milk, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, cheese, eggs, pasta, chicken, and beef.

4. What is your favorite Flag?

The GLBT rainbow

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?

Clean? Yes. Excessively styled, plucked, plumped, smoothed, shaved, and pumiced? Not a chance.

1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?
-- In Catholic school (about 7th grade), we had a religion class that covered most of the biggies (even Zoroastrianism!) but I could use a refresher on a few. This is how I would like kids to learn about religion-- so they can be more accepting of those that aren't theirs.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?
-- We belong to the LA Fitness that finally opened out here, but haven't been in a month or two. We're going to try to rectify that this weekend.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states)
-- Olive Garden! Just kidding. What's typical American? Burgers and fries I guess?

4. What is your favorite Flag?
-- I like Brazil. Very colorful and unusual. Who else uses so much lime green on a flag?

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?
-- Usually. but when I work from home, I say screw it, throw on a T-shirt and sweatpants.

23. Refreshing isn't it?
For a school where we had Jesus jammed down our throats all the time, they were remarkably liberal in religion class, and DIDN'T jam Jesus down our throats.

:D

12. Let's see
1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?

I spend a lot of time reading up on religious philosophy, Ibn Khaldun and Marcus Aurelius being two of my favorites. However, given how much there is to know about any major religion I'm only superficially informed about most.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?

Yes. It's a home gym.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states)

As far as staples, in the US probably bread/pasta, with rice moving on up.

4. What is your favorite Flag?

Isle of Man.

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?

I've been described as presentable. :P

14. Well, pehaps my answers will be of interest.
1) (Technically, atheism is not a religion but hey)

I know about a number of different religious viewpoints, because I've asked people who believed this or that, but religions as a whole are not interesting to me.

I do know a LOT about claims of the existence or lack thereof of God though - I'm a bit of an accuracy nut, you see. :)

2) A gym? Well, I play capoeira, and that is as close as I need to get to a gym.

3) We are a nation of migrants from many different countries. No, not like America. I know you have people from around the world as well, but we went from just over 7 million after WW II to a country of 21 million on pretty much migrants and their children.

This means that we don't have a staple diet. :)

4) My mind does not store these things! I remember relationships between things, not facts.

5) No, I'm not. Because honestly, people who judge people on their clothes are not people who I respect the judgement of, so I generally don't care.

Of course, I remain hygienic/clean, and if I want to demonstrate to a friend that whatever event I am attending, like their birthday or performance, means something to me, I do take care with my appearence.

Other than that, no.

16. Ok
1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?
I had a class in Catholic school similar to that of FSC, but it's been awhile. I grew up with both Catholic and Protestant parents, dated someone Jewish when younger, my ex became a Buddhist for awhile, so probably more than the average American, but not near enough to feel particularly informed.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?
No, I own a treadmill. Gyms annoy me because I get cranky when I exercise.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states). America's staple? Crap.

4. What is your favorite Flag?
I don't really have one.

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?
Very, but I don't wear a ton of makeup.

26. My answers
1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own?

I consider myself pretty well informed. I find religious belief fascinating as well as the fact that virtually all cultures and civilizations have held them. It makes me curious about the different ways people believe and though I don't believe in god myself, I respect the tradition and cultural significance of religions.

2. Do you go to a gym,if so which one?

I don't. I have some exercise equipment at home and walk a lot.

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states)

Hmmmm.... well, we eat a lot of chicken and rice.

4. What is your favorite Flag?

The flag of the 69th New York Infantry in the Civil War - emerald green with an Irish harp and sunburst

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed?

Yes.

5. I think I am exceedingly well groomed.

33. Missed these, sorry.
1. How informed are you about religions, other than your own? - I have no religion and am horrifically uninformed about any or all of them. In fact, while recently studying foreign words for religious terms, I saw a list of 86 religious terms in English and didn't know what roughly half of them meant.

2. Do you go to a gym, if so which one? - Yes, a small gym in Laurel (Maryland).

3. What would you consider a staple diet in your country? (please specify country, if its not the united states) - I would not consider any staple diet. I shop one day at a time and eat what I'm in the mood for.

4. What is your favorite Flag? - If you mean by looks of the flag itself, the Quebec flag.

5. Do you consider yourself well-groomed? - Well, I shower every day, but if "well-groomed" means neat hair, definitely not. I have a goatee and wear my hair like I am a member of Aerosmith.
