I should have stayed in bed this morning.
The alarm went off and I tried to get out of bed to turn it off but I was all twisted in my blanket so I fell on the floor. Took a shower and dropped the bar of soap on my toe. Getting dressed I put my finger nail through a new pair of hose, damn. Finally get to work and stupid me, I did not shut the bottom drawer of my desk. When I walk around my desk this morning, with my arms full of crap, I smash my shin into the corner of the drawer, drop my cans of soup on my foot and bleed on my good pants.
Why oh why did I not just stay in bed????
Please tell me my day will get better.

1. It'll get better, RR.
Nowhere to go but up.

As the saying goes: "Eat a live toad first thing in the morning - and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day."

2. Your day WILL get better.
It sounded like it started off badly. But the worse is over. The rest of the day will be a good one.

And here's a hug to help!

Terry

3. It may get even worse. Good luck!
But eventually it'll have to get better. Things can only get progressively worse for so long.

4. coffee, that's what you need!

If not the caffeine, the ten minute break will do you good.

6. Well, you'll never do the desk drawer thing again.
Did that with the dishwasher one night.
Carrying a tray into the kitchen, so couldn't see my feet.
Dishwasher door was down.
Couldn't see that either.
Walked right into it and did a HUGE face plant IN the tray, ON the floor.
OUCH!!!!

Moral: ALWAYS look to see where your feet and shins are going.
Is it to late for a do-over?
Go back to bed.
;-)

7. Well, not to minimize your day, but
I got out of bed this morning, and before my eyes were even open I stepped in a dog turd! Went to turn the light on to see what I'd stepped in, and stepped in ANOTHER dog turd! Bitching and swearing, I got a tissue, turned around to pick up the turds, and stepped in a fresh puddle of puppy pee!! (My little pug is not quite housebroken yet).

Sorry about your day, RR. It will get better! :)

9. Oh the joys of puppy love.
That is why I have kept my last two puppies in a kennel. They seem to feel safer and no little presents.

10. Find a quiet spot
Sit by yourself and meditate for ten minutes.

These accidents happen because you are not "living in the moment". You're distracted.

Hit the gong...wake from the dream.

18. Yeah well, I got locked out of my house
Back from an ENT appointment for my 5 year old, Mr Passive Aggressive locks the screen door and there I pound on the door with 2 little boys (both needing lunch, one needing to be at school in 20 minutes) in the freezing cold. :grr:
And I can't even mention last night.

Damn, it's good to vent!!!!
