My son is planning a Greek honeymoon.. anyone been there lately?

They are thinking of spending a few days in Florence,(my son went to college there, and wantes to share it with her) a couple in Rome, and then a week or so in Greece..with side trips to Split & Dbrovnik..

I think they plan to spend 3 weeks total..

They are also considering an Aegean cruise..

He would dearly love to 'wing it" and do a backpacky type trip, but she's more of a Sheraton-type girl :)

he wants this trip tp be tip-top, because he plans to go to World Cup in South Africa with guys only (in 09 , I think), so he wants this trip to be for her.. so she won't complain when he bugs out with his 4 soccer buddies:)

They will leave May 30th 08 (give or take a day)
