Finally looked at what happened to my 401k balance- ouch!

Down 15,000 bucks from last week. All I can say it is much more enjoyable when the balance goes up than when its falling.

the past few weeks have indeed been horrible.

But like SPK says...in it for the long haul.

Watching the paper loss of $2,000 per day is not my idea of fun.

My whole IRA balance is only about $30,000, but I am guessing you are still plus $15,000 over the last six months.

5. I was up 30% for the year until this past week.

I didn't lose everything I have gained this year (yet). Hopefully it will bounce back.

7. Vanguard has one of our 401Ks and a deferred

compensation account. T. Rowe Price has the other one.

I don't know the specific funds, but I'll look them up and PM you. *scratches head, where'd I put that last statement?*
