Can anybody suggest a reasonably-priced hotel in San Francisco?

Nothing fancy but not a fleabag either. Normally I'd drive home so I don't know of any, but I have friends coming in from out of town and we'll be there for the weekend. We'll have cars so the ideal location isn't a must but if it's not far from a BART station so we don't have to drive too much that is a plus.

2. The Adante Hotel...

http://www.adantehotel.com it's considered a 'boutique' hotel right in the theater/gallery district, reasonable prices, with lots of europeans & world travelers (and u.s. type folks) staying with you...very SF :thumbsup:

3. There are three hotels out here by the beach that are okay

and much less expensive than anything downtown. Not near a Bart station but close to the street car.
