What's wrong with this deal?

So I went to Home Despot last night because I needed a new florescent light for the kitchen. Normally, I'd go to Lowe's but it's farther away and I had groceries in the car. Plus $6 dollars for a light sabre tube wasn't gonna set the world on fire.

I noticed that store has Magnavox 42-inch LCD panels on sale for $999. I looked it up on line today and it's normally a $1400 machine. I didn't see this price online anywhere, so evidently it's a local thing.

I'm still trying to figure out why they will sell this TV so cheaply. What's wrong with this situation? :dilemma:

2. If it's the same model (per the other response), maybe it's just gone on clearance.

I'm not keen on Magnavox anyway. When it comes to TVs, stick to the "S" brands. Sony and Samsung.
