In the September 2007 issue of Elle Magazine, he described his hygiene preferences for women: "Toilet paper - and no baby wipes - in the bathroom. If they're using dry paper, they aren't washing all of themselves. It's just unclean. So if I go in a woman's house and see the toilet paper there, I'll explain this. And if she doesn't make the adjustment to baby wipes, I'll know she's not completely clean."


Anyone else think this is slightly overdoing it in the hygiene department? I guess it's no different than using a bidet, actually, to remove whatever toilet paper doesn't get to, but why would someone feel it necessary to express his own personal hygiene preferences in a magazine?

Am I the only one who finds this kind of funny?

struck me as an odd thing to go on about. I read the interview (last page, a la Vanity Fair) and the interviewer was like "Wait. What? I don't understand." when he first said it. So he went on to elaborate. Lol.

I used to think he was very attractive, and while he is physically quite nice to look at, I now just think he's kind of bizarre and controlling. I mean, you like someone but won't be with them if they don't wipe their privates with baby wipes? Talk about superficial.

11. I saw Tiny Tim on Howard Stern once

And he had a big hygiene compulsion. He admitted to having two suitcases of cleaning products for the hotels he stayed in and used "Viva" brand paper towels to dry himself off with after a shower. He said he never used cloth towels as they weren't as sanitary as new paper towels off a roll. Even though they were all teasing him about it he remained polite and very serious about using the paper towels instead of regular ones.
