anyone know how to import napster songs onto iTunes?
I'm trying to import my napster songs into iTunes but it says it can't be converted since they're protected WMA songs. anyone know how to make it so iTunes allows them?

Thanks!

1. You have to convert them to mp3s
Then they will work. iPods don't accept wma files.

3. I don't see why they would
But I'm not a Napster user since they went legit. Most of my collection is illicit.

4. The only way I know of is to burn them to a CD, then rip that CD into iTunes. There are other ways
that you can find through googling but I think that they violate the user agreement for iTunes and iPods (programs that strip the DRM and convert the .wma to an .mp3)

The CD method is a pain in the ass, and you lose quality in the files.

7. Here's what I did
I transferred my music folder to a USB key.

Uploaded the folder onto my new laptop with iTunes. (I had an old desktop that needed replacing)

Imported the contents of that folder in the iTunes library.

6. itunes will convert them if they are pure WMA files...
You have files with DRM embedded in them. iTunes can't do anything with them. You will need to find a way to strip the DRM out. I can't suggest a way of doing that.
