2. Most people I know say "Woshington".
If anyone says "Warshington", I laugh and ask if they are from out of state.

15. People who are natives of Washington don't say Worshington.
And Oregon is pronunced "Ory-gun". I'll leave the correct pronunciation of Nevada to the natives there.

27. lol, nope, that's not the correct way to pronounce
Nevada. There's no open up and say "ahh" sound. Think of apple instead. Nev-a-duh The way you pronounce Oregon is okay. But think of gun instead of gin. Or-uh-gun :bounce:

pronounce it at all ... at least, I've never heard them. They talk more about the cow fresh'nin' in the e'enin', before hit was ready. :P

Cuz I think some might. And it might be me. I don't hear it when I'm talking but I've occasionally been corrected (much to my dismay) that I'm saying warsh instead of wash. Who'd a thunk it?

33. It's so annoying to live in a state with the same name as the US capitol!
Why should anyone need to say Washington...State I wish our state would be re-named and given a long, confusing Native American name! Then no one would pronounce it correctly!
