4. .....
Sorry

we had family about 5 minutes from here and they used to have a dairy farm...
I have so many memories from there....
my cousin still lives on the farm and rents the cow barn....

our family cemetery is there to...
so that was a ritual....
actually we would buy food at Soons
and have a picnic in the cemetery.....
plant mums.. and decorate for Halloween..... :)
my family would have LOVED this....
when I smoked.... I used to have a cigarette with my Dad and 2 brothers....
now I let someone else do it.....
i just tell them whats happened in the last year LOL

yeah i guess its a little weird.... but its something we have done since I have had memories.......

3. Unfortunately, my family wasn't really into having fun
Mom was always working. Dad would take me to kiddie matinees every Sunday. But that was about it. Most trips were to visit relatives.

So of course I'm out to remedy that with MG Jr.! :) We went HERE today: http://www.stokoefarms.com/

Spent more than three hours at the pumpkin place, and only 15 minutes of that time were spent actually picking pumpkins. Jr. had a ball--liked the tractor rides especially; the giant "sandbox" with eight inches of corn kernels came in a close second--couldn't get him out of there for love nor money. Factor in the corn maze, hay jump, petting zoo, train ride, giant (two-storey) slide, haybale step pyramid with tunnels to crawl through, games, food (mmmm half-moon-type cookies with 1/2 inch of orange frosting...), etc. etc., and he's passed out cold now. He even MIGHT sleep in his own bed all night. But I'm not holding my breath on that one.

6. Hell, if he had fun, that's great
I had a fantastic time! (DH enjoyed himself too despite his curmudgeonly tendencies.)

Seriously, I do want to make sure MG Jr. really loves his childhood, instead of what I experienced, which was merely tolerating it till I was older so I could have more control over my life.
