Anyone been watching "Pusing Daisies"?
What a great show. Totally off-the-wall, fun, quick-witted, a nice diversion from standard TV fare.

Anyone else been tuning in?

27. The appropriately titled pilot (Pie-Lette) and second episode are on the ABC website
Edited on Fri Oct-19-07 06:43 AM by TommyO
If you have a decent connection, watch them online.

It's great to see Ellen Greene and Swoozie Kurtz as the aunts on the show.

Edited to add: Jim Dale as the narrator is also a wonderful touch, he is the one reason that I listened to all of the Harry Potter books!

5. Yes, it sort of fills the void left by "Dead Like Me".
It has a quirky, Tim Burtony kind of feel to it.

You can watch episodes at tv-links.co.uk

Callum Blue, who plays Mason, is my number one actor crush.

8. I Love That Show!
"Chuck" and Ned( is that the right name?)
are so damn cute together.
" I think I'll go find some plastic wrap"- LOL!

Chuck's aunts and the PI are a hoot.

The writing, the narration, the timing, THE SCENERY!
are just great.

It's a gorgeous show with a lot of heart
and character.

May it last for many, many seasons.

:loveya:

9. Yes
I love that show. Very quirky and imaginative. I like how Chuck and Ned find ways to touch each other without actually touching each other (if that makes sense).

Lee Pace is cute, and he's only one day older than I am.

Also, Jim Dale doing the voiceover narration = win.

13. saran wrap!
hilarious!

last night he said, "I'm going to see if I can find some saran wrap." So cute.

and the chemistry between those two is palatable! they're both so cute, thier on-screen chemistry is quite organic.

And the PI (from Boston Public) it's great to see him in a comedic role, he does a bang-up job! With his knitting!!

great stuff

First time we've watched TV in around five or six years.

I really really hope it sticks around, but anything good goes away so fast these days.

25. It is pushing, of course
About a nerdy guy who discovered that he can raise the dead by simply touching them. However, if he touches them again, they are dead for good. Also, if he does not touch them again within a minute, someone else has to die in their stead.

One of the recently revived is a young woman "Chuck" who was murdered and on whom he had a crush when he was a child. Thus, she is alive and around him but he cannot touch her. Hence the comments above, about kissing through body bags, touching through special "gloves," etc.

He - both - are working with a P.I, waking the dead to find out what happened to them, if they were murdered, or where they hid the heirloom.

But it is quirky and clever.

I liked a story from his childhood when he was taunted by class mates at a private school. So he volunteered to distribute the frogs for dissection in science class. But he touched all of them, they jumped at his tormentors who ran away..
