My grandfather just. about. DIED with the grand slam. "Drew? DREW hit that? I'll be DAMNED!" And then another RBI later! Shit yeah!

Still, not complaining too much--just hope he ponies up for tonight!

3. Only problem I had with the
Red Sox winning last night was having to deal with the drunken IM victory messages from my best bro . . .

Surprisingly I could decipher them pretty well.. mostly cheers and profanity.

8. LOL
When Drew came up to bat with the bases loaded, I said to my wife, "oh, crap, the Rally Wrecker". She gave me a puzzled look. She laughed ysterically when that ball ended up in the camera well in center.

10. I hate to be the wet blanket with all this...
But maybe you Sox fans should just go ahead and root for the Indians to win tonight. That way, you won't have to watch the Rockies beat the Sox up and down the field for four games.

I'm just sayin'.

12. Oh poop on you.
:P :P

At this point I don't give a damn about the World Series--I just want to see some Tribe spankage going on. Just like the ALCS in 04 was almost sweeter than the sweep of the Cards; my family was delirious, literally delirious for days after the BoSox won that.

13. Hey, I'm just trying to save Red Sox Nation some heartache.
The way the Rockies are playing, it'd be hard to beat them in a series. Plus, the Rox really put a hurting on Beckett and Schilling back in June at Fenway. Again, I just want to save the Sox and their fans from suffering any more than they have to. :P

16. Don't be so sure
The Sox are very good. If this Sox/Rox series comes to pass, as I predicted it would in mid-September, I think I'm gonna have to quit everything in my life and get my own "psychic" TV show. In any case, it'll be a good series and I'll be happy no matter the outcome.

17. Yeah, you just might... You were calling for Rox-Sox at the start of the Division Series!
But I think Colorado has all the mojo going for them right now. The Red Sox are a great team, but they had their moment of amazing, unmatched glory 3 years ago. Colorado is in the midst of an amazing run, and I honestly don't think it'll be easy for anybody to stop it. No matter who the AL competitor in the World Series is, we can be sure that it's going to be a GREAT series!
