The Brits know ale. I would venture to say that all the breweries in Deutchland couldn't match the finesse, style and sheer craftsmanship of the British Ale. Whether it's the India Pale Ale or the Nut Brown Ale - to the Extra Special Bitter Ale or that classic of all dark ales, The Stout the Brits just brew superior beer.

Perhaps its just that I'm not a Lager or Pilsner fan. They're too much like Republican Sex - doughy white people doing strange things to each other.

So this ale holds up - a nice deep amber ale with a slightly cloudy color. The hops balance with the malts and you have an enjoyable Pint and .9 oz - an English Pint.
