I'm taking a little break as I plan to stay in the office ALL NIGHT. I have a deadline tomorrow and the software I need to prepare was just installed.

Anyway, I need to waste some time before I can get back to serious business. This is my favorite place to waste time, and I haven't posted an ask-me-anything post in ages.

...for a non-profit. I have a 40-page booklet to put out and I need to do it in Quark.

I am the Director of 2 departments and I have no staff. I love non-profits!

8. Well, I believe in the mission,

I like my boss. I like my co-workers. It's my first Director position and if I can do a good job here for a couple more years, I can pretty much write my own ticket from here.

Problem is we're part of a larger organization that is very proprietary when it comes to IT privileges, so although I ordered my software over a month before I needed it, the wheels turn slowly.
