Am I boring you with the weight loss updates?
If so, this will be my last one. But here goes: After having zero weight loss for one week, I went in today for a weigh-in and was down 1.6 pounds. That's a total of 15.8 pounds since I started 8 weeks ago.

It has been slow, but pretty much steady. On my best week, I lost 4 pounds. On my worst, I stayed even. Now if I can just lay off the stuffing and fruitcake over the holidays... we'll see.

My Weight Watchers group leader says that some people "give themselves permission" to gain back 5 pounds over the holidays. But my goal will be to at least stay even the week of Thanksgiving, lose weight up till Christmas week, and then stay even again.

It'll be hard. But I really don't want to gain back anything now. It's too soon and I still have too far to go.

4. No, but you are making me extremely jealous.
You'd think that "being too busy to exercise" would be an ironic non-problem. But it ain't.

5. Don't be jealous, here is why
Sure, I have lost almost 16 lbs. But I went to buy a new jacket and the extra-large was too snug. I have a LONG way to go.

I am 5 pounds from goal after 2 years..Steady is good, . Those zero weight loss weeks are just your body going into temporary maintenance.

I crept over a 5 pound marker this week, total over 2 years = 60.1 pounds.

I just want to stay level over the holidays. My niece is hosting our family Thanksgiving dinner, and she is on WW..her last weigh in she lost 16 so far. So anyway we are planning how we can avoid pitfalls at Thanksgiving.

Apples and carrots can get you through a lot of things! I always have them around.
