2. Even though I live in MO
I'm not a MU fan but I guess I'm cheering for them this time. My hatred of all things KU knows no bounds, thanks to an exboyfriend (and KU grad).

Go black and gold.

3. It was a pretty good first quarter
Mizzou is ahead but they had to work pretty hard for those seven points ...

6. ESPN called this the game of the week.
So far it's living up to the hype.

I live near KC and it's all I've heard this past week.

Mizzou's really holding up well right now. 14 point lead now.

9. I'm not a Mizzou fan
but you'd have to shove hot pokers up my bum to make me even consider rooting for KU.

10. I don't like Kansas basketball, but I like Mangino
He was the offensive coordinator when my Sooners won the national title in 2000 :)

I'm happy to see him have such success up there.

11. He's done quite well
and they are very pleased with him. KU fans aren't used to being in the cold to root for their team. Right now they're usually cozied up in Allen Fieldhouse watching a bball game.

Imagine the shock of the KU fans. They actually have a football team to root for this season.

13. 14-0 now
All year Kansas has won by not making mistakes--very few penalties and very few interceptions. So far this game they've been making mistakes.

14. The intense rivalry.
That's why the mistakes have been made.

Can you even imagine what it's like there right now? It must be intense.

15. yeah, I wish I could be there
even though I'm not really a fan of either team, I tend to like them both and am happy to see them doing so well. And I think it's great that they have the game on a neutral field this year. Man, that must be fun!

16. A friend offered me a ticket.
Nice seats too. I turned it down and told her to take a real fan of one of the teams.

Besides, it would be rude to root against her team. She's from KS.

25. Right.
I'm not a huge Mizzou fan (hell, not even a huge football fan), but the Rams are kind of hopeless this season, so...Mizzou it is!

21. Kansas finally got a stop
this game was looking like it could get ugly. But if Kansas can score before the half, it could still make for an interesting second half ...

26. Considering that everything has gone wrong for KU in the first half
they're pretty lucky to be down by only 2 touchdowns.

They can turn this around.

27. It's still doable for Kansas, but they've got to stop leaving points on the field
But they get the ball to start the second half, and if they can put a drive together that changes everything.

Unless the Manginos can turn it around in a hurry ...

29. If the Jayhawks could only finish their damn tackles.
I'm getting irked, but I gotta remember these are just kids playing for pride.

When the Chiefs take the field and get paid serious bank to mail it in for another week, then I'll get mad.
