I really, really, really do not like Sci Fi!

Not even Battlestar Galactica. ;-)

Any confession(s) you'd like to share?

7. I needed that... thanks.
He told me to "get the hell out of my room" tonight. :grr:

That isn't like him and I almost told him to "get the hell out of MY house!"

But I stopped myself and a little while later he apologized.

But I still want him to go.... I've done my job. It's time for him to fly.

8. My mother kicked us all out at 18.
She told us if any of us wanted to live with her, after that, we could pay rent. But, I've been told that since times are different, children live with their parents a lot longer now. I don't envy the position you're in... not at all.

18. That's the problem right there!
He's supposed to be paying rent but is unwilling to hand over the cash, hence the "get the hell out of my room"
because for the 5th time, I asked if he had brought it home yet! I need the money. Sorry but as it says on
your car son, "Nobody rides for free!" :P

When I wanted mine to leave...I missed them when they were gone...
But they'd always come back.
I've had almost a year of no kids, and now, for a while..heeeeeee's baaaaaaack!
Don't you love the way it's "My room!"
I heard that so many times...at least he apologized.
Isn't this the one who brought home milk and TP?
Oh the ups and downs of motherhood...
You need a hug:hug:

peace~

19. Yeah, it's the same one. TP & milk.
He just doesn't want to pay his way here. He still thinks I should be supporting him, I guess.
But I'm not rich and money is tight and I'm not asking for that much per week, at all. But he
did finally go get the cash and he did apologize, so I forgave him but I won't tolerate being
yelled at in my own home, by my own child! No way in hell will that fly!

32. Divorce is the inverseof sex and/or pizza
No matter how it ends up, it's always bad.

There's no such thing as being "married twice for the wrong reason." There's just two or more (really big) lessons to be learned. I assure you, you can be both a cynic and an optimist at the same time.

And you can always do what I do: whenever I get lonely, which is not that often even when I'm by myself, I just remember that person, think about what it was like to be with them, and say to myself: "I'd rather be lonely every single minute of every single day for the rest of all eternity than to spend one more minute with them."

It works as a mantra, too.

I guess I should explain that I think 'love' should be the reason to marry. And, in a way I did have love for both of them...I have learned there are many kinds of love. I want the kind that endures. Thanks for the kind words. It really means a lot.

42. Probably not!
This is one of the big things in his life... for entertainment. I still haven't told him, completely, though he's catching on about how much I hate it. ;-) I really don't think he would have thought we were as good of a match, per se, if I'd admitted how much I detest it. That might just be my low self esteem talking... who knows, for certain...

It's not really like I lied. I just didn't openly object when he'd want to watch Sci Fi. Though, I must admit, it's starting to wear on me... over the years. :-(

baseball cards from the local Woolworth's when I was younger. Never got caught by the police.
An employee caught us but we would buy 1 or 2 packs and get a recipit so when she asked we just showed the recent. We would only keep the cards we wanted so we wouldn't have to try and sneak hundreds of cards in our pockets or coats.

48. Reminds me of when I was in 3rd grade...
I found an entire packet of free skating tickets at the rink. When I turned them in, the guy at the window said, "I want you to keep those-- and always remember that honesty pays." I did, too. Less than a few weeks or months later (I can't remember the exact amount of time) my best friend asked me to steal a package of chewing gum from the drug store. I wouldn't do it. When I was an adult, I took a test to work at a retail store. One of the questions was, "Do you think you are too honest to steal." I had a difficult time answering that since I've never stolen anything. Yeah, I know, that might sound weird. But I honestly think it was that man at the roller skating rink who did it to me!! lol

Isn't it funny how just one person can impact another person's life to a great degree? :hi:

My best friend and I always talk about how cool it would be to form a band and go on tour and stuff, but in actuality I don't have the talent. (My friend does - she's a pretty good singer and has done well in local contests and stuff, but my singing is pretty much strictly limited to the car when I'm driving alone, lol. ;)) Some crazy part of me still wants to give it a shot, but as for a "real" career...I have no idea. Thanks for your kind words, though! :hi:

In those bloody fashion magazines they have at the hairdresser. Before, they looked like real people. After: Yuck! Plastic Tarts or Corporate Clones.

I don't have a TV, but I confess the getting really hooked on Extreme Makeover: Home Addition while I was on vacation. Though watching that hyper guy could be exhausting on a regular basis.
