I tried desperately to find one of these last year but I found that the online sites that sold these were very "iffy" (at best). I went to every store that I could imagine and finally a guy at Best Buy told me they had to get rid of them because people would buy them and then turn around, walk right back into the store, and open packages and steal the merchandise.

I find that very funny.

they never show the initial part of getting over the fold, always just a simply glide across buttery plastic.

10. I keep a little box cutter on my keychain for that stuff.

My boss gets them for free but I think they'd be about a buck at a hardware store, and I use mine for everything from opening those g-d clamshell packages to opening packages at work to cutting gift wrap for presents.
