10. Jean Shepherd wrote that story. I used to listen to him on WOR

when I was in the Army and lived in New Jersey. He told the wildest tales. Now I have discovered that I can still listen to recordings of Jean's program at:

I remember watching his PBS shows with my dad in the 1970s.

12. I listened to him between 64-66. Some of his best stories were

about childhood and being in the Army. I think I used to catch him every weeknight back then. It was a real hoot. It's just SO great to be able to hear him again.
