Geez, I hate throwing up.
I think I got food poisoning yesterday. I threw up all night. I've managed to keep everything down since this morning but I still feel like shit. Thank dog for Reed's Ginger Brew. I begged my husband to go get me some this morning and it's helping a lot. Now if I could just stop feeling like an overcooked noodle.

:(

P.S. To add insult to injury, I only lost a pound with all that vomiting! Argh!

1. Sorry, grace0418.
"You wear it well." "Next time lunch is on me."

(Remember when George on Seinfeld suggested greeting cards for people after vomiting? What is your take on that?)

2. LOL! Thanks for the laugh.
Hopefully, I won't be throwing up long enough to warrant such a card. :)

4. You are welcome. Actually, it was only after one vomit episode
and then you would receive a card. Just like don't have to give birth to septuplets to get a "Congratulations it's Boy" card. ;)

3. Ginger ale was my mother's "medicine" for our upset tummies.
She warmed it in a pan and it was very soothing.

Throwing up isn't fun but remember that it's your body's way of getting rid of something nasty as fast as it can.

5. Yeah, I used to drink regular old ginger ale until I found Reeds.
I LOVE ginger and normally can't buy this stuff because I will drink all of it (145 cal a bottle). But when I'm sick it's a requirement. It's sooooo gingery it actually tastes spicy like there is chili pepper in it, but somehow it is so soothing on a yucky stomach.

I know what you mean about throwing up, but I just wish my body would've stopped after the entire contents of my stomach was gone. I dry heaved (sorry to be gross) for hours afterward. :(
