3. You have to MAKE them shut up; they won't respond to polite requests.
May I suggest Vicodin, with a vodka chaser?

10. Heat's good. Cold followed by heat (an arthritis treatment favored in Japan) works
pretty well, too; it really does help increase the blood flow to the area.

7. Having spend 20 minutes deciding which pain pills to purchase and pop tonight,
generic aspirin and generic acetaminophen were far less expensive than Excedrin Arthritis(tm), which is buffered aspirin + acetaminophen...

That buffered stuff is expensive, but I gather it won't burn holes into your stomach... :smoke:

8. I have a semi cure- but they still won't listen
I've been taking 2 enteric aspirins in the am and two at night. "Enteric" is the key- they don't burn out your stomach lining.

It works as good as celebrex, and its cheaper and safer. Advil is not for those that consume alcohol, but it works too. But daily use burns up your kidneys.

Stay active, avoid sitting for extended periods (which puts a damper on lounging I guess)

12. Anybody else take 'Joint Soother'?
Has glucosomine, chondroitin, and MSM. I get it at Vitamin World.
Relatively cheap in the jumbo size bottle.
I take one tab morning and evening and it sure works for me.
No more arthritic knees and fingers.
