Since I'm bitching about TV, can someone tell me why 90% of the commercials

that have a female narrator, have a female narrator with a LISP?

What, is a speech defect a requirement for that job?

I'd say not even one percent of the women I've ever known has a lisp, but it sure seems like almost ALL the female commercial voiceovers include one.
