Murphee the Tiel's first Xmas.............
not at the vet's for boarding.....deciding to take the little monkey with me to Grandma and Grandpa's for turkey and all the fixuns'. :)

3. One of my old rentmates had two 'tiel's, a sun conure, a yellow naped
amazon, and a very elderly, very shy rescued wild caught cockatoo that had been on display at a "mexican" family resturaunt since 1925. The amazon had to be in the kitchen everytime we cooked, and one Sunday she finally got so p.o.'d at him for coming up on the counter that she showed him the chicken she was getting ready to roast and told him "This is what happens to Bad Birds". Thanksgiving came along, and we were getting the Turkey out from thawing when Pickles pipes up and announces "Was very baaaad bird" and runs back off to his cage and pouted for the rest of the day.

He loved fried chicken. Just not when it was whole and recognizable as a used to be bird.

6. I learned something this past Thanksgiving.
I didn't know 'tiels ate turkey. Both of mine ate some of my turkey.
