2. Dude I am so damn sorry you broke your ankle. !
I sprained my ankle this past October and when it happened I SCREAMED in pain. It hurt so bad. I never felt that much pain before. I could'nt walk straight for about 4 weeks without limping. It was swollen so bad that it looked like it was broken. I don't wish that pain on anyone. Stay off your ankle and take it easy.
7. I have to take it easy because sometimes I can feel it twisting ...
One morning on my way to the laundry to dry some clothes I tripped off of one step on my porch. I fell on the ground and I laid there for a while in tears because it hurt so bad. Sigh.
If you were, my condolences to you. I know from C & B that cooking is one of your great loves so regardless of what you were planning to make it's a bummer that you won't be able to do so.
9. Will you need to have surgery? How did you do it? Do you have pain meds?
I literally broke my right foot OFF of my leg a few years back. I broke all of the bones clean through but did not damage any ligaments or tendons. Go figure. Breaking it didn't hurt but after surgery it hurt really, really bad. I was in a cast and on crutches for months. I'm OK now but I do have a weather ankle and you can see and feel the screws in my ankle which is sort of gnarley.
10. Probably not. Being a klutz. Not nearly enough. ;)
The doctor wanted to send me home with ADVIL. Can you fucking believe it? I practically had to beg for some vicodin, and then he only gave me 20. I guess he was worried I'd sell them rather than use them to treat my cantaloupe-sized ankle. :banghead:
