7. That has a lot to do with the plastic surgery. The nose looks emaciated...

... which is, of course, what happens to skin over a skull when the nose cartilidge starts to shrivel upon death. I base my observations on several horror films I've seen.

She's not gotten a total plastic workover, like some stars do. I like that for the most part she's allowing her face to age naturally. Her face has character, which cosmetic surgery would utterly ruin.

This is my long, roundabout way of saying I'd hit it.

Those zooms ins reveal that she has that freaky "trampoline under-eye" look in which plastic surgeon sadists convince otherwise attractive (neurotically needy) people that a little moderate sagging below the eye is unappealing and should be tugged out of the way. Sadly, the new look is inevitably asymmetrical, resulting in travesties that makes it look like the janitors accidently left the hot lights in the wax museum on overnight. The same MD perverts then talk their vain wealthy victims into collegen lip injections that are the gateway drug to botoxed forheads and puffy old troutlips.



Her face is being robbed of the natural character she's earned by living on this stupid planet for 50 years.

She used to be ridiculously beautiful. A face with real character. Especially the later episodes of Northern Exposure when they let her grow her hair out. Didn't know she was a repug. The show itself seemed the farthest thing from what a right wing mind would dream up. But she was just an actor on it, I suppose.
