19. I drive one of these:

Mine's a GT. It's got 19" wheels in the rear and 18" in the front. Tires won't be cheap. Hell, a brake job is supposed to cost $2K. I've only had it three months, so knock wood it'll be a while before I need to find out just how much tires are!

27. Dang! What about for a Sedan
I've got the sedan and I'm going to Costco for tires next week. I didn't think they would be nearly as much, but I know that in the coupe, the front and back wheels are two different sizes. I was thinking like $200. Shit shit shit!!!

7. Gotcha beat!!!
6 feet of collapsed sewer line between my house and the main.

Dig up the front yard, replace the pipe, plus the cost of waterjetting the pipe and getting the camera in to find the damage = $7,400

My house is the economic stimulus plan.

14. I have heard of dealerships giving free tires to customers
for the life of their car they bought there. The provision was that all work had to be done there, everything from oil changes on up.
This was in Canada though. Don't know if any dealers in the U.S. do that sort of thing.

20. I got that deal when I bought my last minivan.
Free tires, free maintenance for life. Seeing how the tires can run $300 each, not a bad deal at all.

23. It;s called "Tires for life"
It's an insurance program, rotate the titres every 7500 miles and get the repairs done at the dealership you bought the car from and the tires are replaced free, including blow outs.

16. My $600 rebate is going to new shoes for my Infiniti.
But mine's a 1994 G20, so I can get some decent tires for less than $600. Or, I guess I can go for the nicer tires and spend the whole 6 bills.

17. I feel really cheap now.
I needed one tire and it was $90 for my car (2006 Saturn). Ended up going to a local guy for $15, everything included.
