Hey guys! I had a great night away from DU!!
Well, away from GDP is more like it. :P

We went to my SIL/BIL's house in RI, I spent a lot of time with my niece doing puzzles, drawing, stickers, and rubber stamps. And talking and talking and talking (she's 3 going on 4 and scary smart) I also proved my ability to recite the alphabet and spell my first name. :D

Then, we had a great dinner with my SIL and BIL, and watched said niece sing and dance and flail like a 3 y.o. for a few hours. Also hung out with our older niece, who's 9.

It was really good to get away.

:hi:

1. The kiddies bring it out in ya.
I always forgot the time whenever I gave art lessons to a kid every week, a few years ago. She was so cute! I called her "Princess Beastie" & gave her her first pb&j on white bread ever. She was scary smart too.

Here's to a new generation of fighting Dems. :toast: :pals:

4. It was quite a night!!
:bounce:

I was shocked that the 9 and 7 year olds knew who he was, and that they had a political position already staked out

Awesome time with the kiddos...my 3 y.o. niece is my darling. She's just the cutest, funniest lil ham I've ever seen. The girl's gonna be star someday. I can't count how many times we had to tell her she was going to Hollywood, a la American Idol.

She asked Sniffa and I if we had our own rooms, and then asked me about the earring in my face.

7. OK, some day I'll have to show you a picture of my little cousin.
He's like 5 years old, and my bro & I thought he'd be a really shy kid for some reason. I videoed him across the table as our family had brunch out earlier this year. He was so packed with imagination and energy it was contagious.

Truly contagious. It's no wonder you came back here with energy to burn. Baby, stay inspired!! w00t!!!!1!1!!!!

:woohoo: "earring in your face"

5. That sounds like a great time.
I talked to my god-daughter tonight. It's her birthday, so I sang Happy Birthday to her. I asked her how old she was (teasing her of course) and she said "I'm 6!" Then I told her that she was getting old and she told me "Nuh unh!! I'm still a little bitty kid!"

I'm glad you enjoyed your break.

:hi:

6. Awwwww! Adorable!
My niece is sooooo excited for her birthday party next month. I told her that we already bought her presents, and she was pressing me harder than Tim Russert to find out what we got. :P
