Perhaps it's a manifestation of OCD, but I can't stand to have the toilets in my house with the lids up when not in use. They HAVE to be closed. And it's an all-men household, for that matter...
4. I've thought about this too much, and I've concluded that there is
a slightly higher probability that the person who comes to the batroom after you will need the seat down than up, so it's only courteous to put it in that position. (Assuming a shared bathroom and equal man/woman visits)...
Of course, he is a second-generation plumber, and might actually have gone through with it. Fortunately, the Minister for War and Finance put her foot down. :rofl:
