Stylist Accused Of Shooting Woman After Hair Complaint

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- A woman was accused of shooting another woman in the buttocks after an argument over a haircut in Washington.

WTAE's news exchange partners at the Tribune-Review reported that Monique Reed, 38, has been arrested and charged with shooting Lauren Newton, 28.

The shooting occurred in Reed's apartment in the 300 block of Donnan Avenue, where Newton had apparently come to complain about the style Reed had given her, police said.

Reed is charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment, police said.
