follow the very easy instructions for doing each of these and try it a few times to see if it clears things up. It's not quackery (like ear candling) and there are no negative side effects.
My eustacian tube was horrible clogged after flying in Feb. It took a good 3 weeks before it finally cleared out. Doc gave me Afrin. I didnt' use it much but you could give it a try.

I've heard popping like that can also be a sympton of TMJ - so if it continues, see your - I think your Dentist is supposed to deal with TMJ as opposed to a doctor. But either one.
and it's a thing the ENT docs I worked for used to advise patients to try to do regularly when flying or diving or even just if your ear feels plugged. Best thing about it, it's free and you don't have to put any chemicals in your body.
19. I have what is called reverse flux in my left ear.
Fluid builds up in my Eustacian tube and creates reverse pressure on my eardrum pulling it inward. Blowing through my nose helps sometimes when it is bad.
