Some kid on a car forum gets owned BADLY, FUNNY!!!

This is the funniest thing I'v ever seen! This dude who's 19, posts a picture of a $100k Mercedez he claims to own. His little story about losing his camera doesn't make sense right away, so the other members are calling him out. It gets better and better through the pages, THEN it gets even better! The real owner of the car shows up at page 27 with the username Mafiosocls55! Many of the members digged up some pretty incriminating stuff on Fresh, but all in all, I think the poor guy's just looking for some e-attention but I'd say he's deserving the ownage he's getting:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

but i've lurked on a lot of car forums over the years, and that story wouldn't even crack my top 10...

my two favorite stories off the top of my head:

1. Ford dealer tech takes a joyride in a customer's 2003 Cobra, comes on a forum to brag about it, and gets busted, and eventually confronted by the woman who owns the car...

2. Honda S2000 owner gets a DIY nitrous kit, and instead of drilling a hole in the intake, he drills it into the engine block(!!!!)

but it was a historic thread (he had a hard time explaining why his car was running funny, so Mr. DIY even posted photos of where he installed the line)...It was on S2ki, and it still may be around somewhere...

I also liked the story of the teen who put armor-all on the TREADS of his tires to complete the look, and promptly got in an accident (I can't remember where I read that)...And the ViperClub about 6 years ago had this dot-commer who had to sell off his viper after the bubble burst -- the trouble was no one wanted it because he had some quasi-famous artist paint a mural with a dolphin on it on his hood (He lived in Hawaii), and the dot-commer actually thought that painting added 30,000 in value to his asking price....

Right when someone had posted his criminal record (2 excessive speed violations w/ $530 fines, and a citation for Negligent Driving). Supposedly from information available publicly derived from information that the kid previously provided himself on that forum. Oy.

A new level of epic failure. Refers to the "Epic FreshFail Thread of 2008," where a certain member (FreshC230) posted photos of a Mercedes Benz CLS55 AMG on the MDStreetScene.com forums, and claimed it was his.

Due to his locality and age, members of the forum demanded proof, which he was unable to give. After a series of flimsy excuses, it soon became apparent that he had stolen the pictures off other sites, and eventually the REAL owner (Mafiosocls55) of the car showed up and provided proof of ownership. (The question of FreshC230's "fiancee", as of this writing, is still inconclusive, though preliminary findings indicate the photos are those of an internet model.)

This thread soon spread to other car forums on the net, and around the world, bringing down the server and leading to the "FreshFail of 2008" as readers flooded the site. The term "FreshFail" has come to indicate a level of failure above "epic fail," where one is very publicly, throughly, and humiliatingly pwned.
