Is the sun getting more intense? I ask because today my skin is showing signs of having been zapped. The result of a "harmless little thing" (as my gynecologist described the Ortho-Novum BC pill) my brown skin had the "very rare" side effect of becoming light sensitive.
When the symptoms first occurred, even reflected light would cause horrific swelling and weeping. Over the years it leveled out somewhat and I resigned myself to taking drastic measures to protect my skin from sunlight between June and September. Including relocating to more northerly climes.
Then mid-May and early-October. Then early-May and mid-October.
Today is April 1st. Yesteday I was out in the country and walked through a field smelling wildflowers under an overcast sky. I noticed my right hand and left ear were complaining today and thought, Hä??? it's too early. THEN I realized that being at the computer, my left ear and right hand were exposed to the window. I got zapped in LATE MARCH this year.
Anyone else remember that "Twilight Zone" episode of the earth heating up??? :scared::hide::scared:
