I'm home sick on a crappy cold SNOWY Monday, and my head is stuffed and I can barely breathe :-( What should I take for relief??

Nothing will cure it but rest.

Also, Sudaphed (the real stuff behind the pharmacy) to decongest, Tylenol or Advil for the soar throat or achiness. A antihistamine like Benadryl to stop post nasal drip and to help you sleep. Looks of fluids and no milk/dairy. Those saline nasal rinses will clear you out in a hurry too.

10. I'm taking the store brand Sudaphed; the real deal makes me

feel just nasty...I'm also pounding zinc and vitamin C and quercetin (hoping the latter two will also help with the latest chronic hive outbreak, yikes). I can't take Benadryl; I have the opposite reaction from most people: it kicks my hives into high-gear, next level itching, and keeps me awake for DAYS.

I did sleep in quite a bit this morning, and I'm sure I'll nap later :-) It's getting a little easier to breathe!

Do you have a vaporizer? No? You can hold your head over a bowl of steaming water, or over the sink with a towel tented over your head to hold in the steam. Got Vicks? Smear some on your chest and put on an old T shirt.
