Is it possible to eat _too much_ fiber?
I tend to eat a lot of grains and vegetables, and have recently become addicted to "double fiber" bread -- one sandwich, plus vegetables within, gives me 50% of needed fiber, and I'll eat up to 6 of these per day.

And, much to my surprise, it's also much cheaper going to the local chain grocer than it is to go to the warehouse store -- what with it being the same brand (Brownberry) and all.

You can't OD on fiber. It's undigestable. That's the point...it passes through and scrub-cleans your lower GI of filth. Worst case scenario you might spend a lot more time on the can. Just make sure you're drinking fluids to remain hydrated.

It depends what else you're eating. A lot of people with body dismorphic image issues will eat large amounts of fiber in order to lose weight beyond what is reasonably healthy or to lose weight while eating whatever they want. It's like laxative abuse. As long as you're not reaching that point, I'd say you're fine. If you start to feel unhealthy or sick, cut back.
