1. Seems like we are all bored tonight!
Or, at least, a lot of us are! lol

Today I went riding, ran errands, and then saw the new Indiana Jones movie. I think I'm the only one here who liked it! :hi:

2. I'm not...
I'm edgy because I'm about to go completely out on a limb...for someone incredible. I haven't felt like this since I was 15 and I haven't quite missed it either. Excited...won't be able to sleep...dry mouth...lack of ability to concentration...it's amazing what women can do to me.

she has to say yes...(which would have been a lock last week, possibly not now. I may have hesitated too long.)

and before that I actually have to ask. (closer to happening than anytime previous...rejection still scary.)

edit: It sounds like you had a blast at the beach. It's been a good day all around.

14. The only funny story I have is from today...
and it is only funny from my point of view according to my Fiance...

I kept threatening to capsize the boat so she could practice righting it... She did not find that as funny as I did, but to get back at me, when were putting the boat away, she pushed me in right off the end of the dock, let me tell you this, that water was COLD...:scared:

12. I helped move a grill...Well, I also went to purchase it.
That's what happens when you have a truck, but it was for my dad and I love my dad.

And then I slept from 5 to 7:30, and even the phone could not wake me up. :hi:

17. Waaah!
The nearest beach to our home is six hours away. I wish we were at Port Aransas or Padre Island right now.

18. My first free day...
graduation was last night. In typical fashion, I slept late, got up and did some yardwork, took a four hour nap, and now I'm bored out of my mind. No papers to grade, no lesson plans to write, nada. Nothing.

I could read a book without guilt that I should be doing something else. Or watch a movie. Or even go to bed and sleep some more.

It usually takes me a week to decompress after a school year before I can even think about what I need to do. My classes start in two weeks so my freedom won't last long.

19. Howdy Ava - Boredom Breaker Idea
Glad you had a good day at the beach! I cut the grass, worked on my woodpile, shopped, and hauled off some trash.

Anyway, there is a beautiful rendition of the song Oh Oh Child sung by Valerie Carter there is an idea of it from

searching you tube for Valerie Carter. I just love the positivity of it and the timing. I downloaded a copy

from Rhapsody (not sure if I-Tunes has it). I listen to it constantly. Valerie has a voice like an angel.

Seems everytime I listen to it I think of the magic you could work up. Bet this could help the boredom!

Give it a listen sometime. Let me know if you like it.

Thanks for all your inspiration as a younger person who has a lot going for them.

Sincerely,

Old Hickory Fan
