2. My dear swag!
How cool is that?

When did this happen?

Today?

I can believe the level of erudition while you two were conversing was out of sight!

Or something like that, right?

Thanks for posting these grand pictures...

Why on earth did you wait till everyone has gone to bed?

Sheesh...

54. Hello
Sushi rolls are probably my favourite food at the moment. Of late a place near to us has been filling their rolls with eggs which are going down a storm, and rightly so - they're delicious.

Considering the other options, this seems peculiar to me. Have you noticed such a roll?

In any case, sushi is magic. I have a ton of it, love it, and don't feel as if I'm destroying my body.

57. At Sushi-Ko in Washington, DC they had
Keplin Roe with Quail Egg, which was a raw yolk of a quail egg surrounded by little orange fish eggs, the whole of that wrapped in seaweed. Yes, delicious! Have seen similar things at some other places around the country.

Is this the type of stuff you're talking about?

We have family in Calif. and Colorado, so spend a lot of our free time traveling to those locales instead. But, I am determined to spend some time in Canada in the near future.

49. Round-trip to Vancouver was $91 for me.
Beats the hell out of flying. They take you on the Amtrak Cascades train (one of those comfortable Spanish-made Talgo trains - actually I think they might be building them in the US now also) to Seattle. You can read, drink wine, whatever. Then you catch a comfortable bus to Vancouver, with a 20 minute or so stop at Customs along the way. Vice versa on the way back.

We stayed at a nice old hotel called the Sylvia, which is on English Bay and very close to Stanley Park. Regardless, it's a very walkable, friendly, and spectacular city.
